Winchburgh’s location is ideal for commuters. Edinburgh city centre, Falkirk and Livingston are all within 30 minutes by car and great transport links including Edinburgh Park only 20 minutes away. Glasgow too is only just over an hours drive.
Work is underway on a new motorway junction connecting Winchburgh within a few minutes to the M9 for travel east, west and north.
First buses operates a regular bus service through the town.
True, we don’t expect many people to be commuting or doing their weekly shop by barge! But Winchburgh still offers this peaceful way of getting around for those who want to take to the water by boat or canoe.
