We’re delighted to announce that Winchburgh Developments will be attending the
prestigious WhatHouse? Awards in London this time next week.
Known as ‘The Oscars for the housebuilding industry’, the awards celebrate the very best in
placemaking, new homes, design and sustainability from across the length and breadth of
the UK.
This year, we are proud that Winchburgh has been nominated in the Best Mixed-Use
Development and Best Regeneration Scheme categories.
Judges from the awards travelled to Winchburgh earlier this year to tour the village, meet
members of the community, and learn more about the work being done here in West
Lothian.
Winchburgh Developments last year claimed the Silver Award in the Placemaking category
of the What House? Awards. The award was presented to the team by actor James Nesbitt
in front of 1300 industry professionals at a glittering gala lunch at the JW Marriott Grosvenor
House hotel on Park Lane in London. This followed the company winning Property Company
of the Year at the Scottish Property Awards, which shine a spotlight on the greatest
achievements in the built environment across Scotland. At both ceremonies, WDL was
recognised for its ongoing investment in the area and the significant development milestones
it has achieved over the last 12 months with its “infrastructure-first” approach to community
planning.
It’s an honour to be nominated in the WhatHouse? Awards once again. We’ll let you know
how it goes on Friday!
