Winchburgh Developments Ltd has appointed Alan Coyle as its new Finance Director.

Alan Coyle, Finance Director for Winchburgh Developments Ltd, said: “It’s a pleasure to be joining the team at Winchburgh Developments at such an exciting time. I’m looking forward to playing my part in delivering the future vision for the town, ensuring new and existing residents benefit from a good quality of living and a strong sense of place here in Winchburgh.”
Earlier this year, WDL was crowned Property Company of the Year at the prestigious Scottish Property Awards in recognition of its investment in the area and the significant development milestones it has achieved over the last 12 months with its “infrastructure-first” approach to community planning. Since 2012, the company has planned and co-ordinated the construction of more than 1000 houses in Winchburgh, with that number expected to quadruple to 4000 by 2034/35, resulting in a rise in population of the community to 13,000 – on a par with the current scale of nearby Linlithgow.
WDL has recently reached a number of significant developer-led milestones including the completion of the new 20-berth Winchburgh Marina, the opening of a new M9 motorway junction in both directions, the completion of an education campus, and the opening of rail and canal over-bridges which connect the town to the trunk road network, reducing congestion on the main street and creating shorter journeys within Winchburgh for residents.
